After the debate, a group of undecided voters informed the New York Times that they were still unconvinced about Vice President Kamala Harris's suitability following her confrontation with Donald Trump.
Sharon Reed, a 77-year-old retired teacher from Pennsylvania, expressed disappointment in everything, according to the outlet.
According to media pundits, polls, and voters, Harris was widely considered the winner of the debate hosted by ABC News on Tuesday.
"She still needs to convince me," said Samira Ali, a 19-year-old college student in Wisconsin, to the Times. "I am still undecided."
"Gerald Meyers, 40, stated that he is struggling to understand the policies of both candidates and their potential impact on his family's finances."
A Milwaukee voter who typically votes Democrat expressed her inclination towards supporting Trump after the debate, according to the Times.
"Keilah Miller, 34, stated that Trump's pitch was more convincing than hers, and she found herself leaning more on his facts than her vision."
"While Trump was in office, I was living well," Miller stated. "However, since he left, I've been struggling and feeling down."
"Jason Henderson, a defense contractor and retired soldier from Arizona, stated that Trump had the more commanding presentation, and there was nothing done by Harris that made him think she was better in any way."
Despite doubts about Trump's seriousness after the debate, voters were eager to hear more about Harris's plans to differ from President Biden, according to the outlet.
The 60-year-old from North Carolina stated that Harris met her expectations and she would be casting her vote for the vice president.
On Tuesday, a Planet Chronicle Digital panel of voters declared that Harris had emerged victorious from the debate.
Twelve panel members voted for Harris while five believed Trump won the debate.
After the debate, a majority of viewers believed the vice president emerged victorious, according to a CNN poll.
According to the poll, 63% of respondents believed Harris won, while 37% thought Trump emerged victorious.
