Joy Reid of MSNBC believes that Black individuals will appear "odd" if they do not support Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.
Reid stated that appearing on the opposite side of that line would make someone appear particularly crazy, especially as a person of color.
Joy Reid, MSNBC host, stated on Tuesday that Black people will appear "odd" if they do not vote for Kamala Harris in November.
As Vice President Kamala Harris has secured enough delegates to become the nominee, being on the other side of the line from her during the presidential campaign will make you seem crazy, especially as a person of color or anyone with a connection to the culture, according to Reid in a TikTok video.
"You'll appear bizarre and isolated on that side," she remarked. "Given the cultural sensation surrounding Vice President Kamala Debby Harris, who is set to make history as the first woman president, you'll look quite mad."
Reid instructed Amber [Rose] to close the door behind her, despite her appearing crazed. However, he added, "Shut the door behind her," reigniting his feud with Rose, whom he criticized after her speech at the Republican National Convention last week.
"Reid stated that he did not want to label the woman as Black because she had previously stated that she was not, but the RNC had brought someone whose career revolves around Black culture."
Reid expressed doubt about the effectiveness of using a person who claims not to be Black to recruit young people of color and endorse Donald Trump, despite her cultural background coming from Black culture.
The MSNBC host was accused of "race baiting" by Rose.
"I never claimed not to be Black, I said I identify as biracial," Rose tweeted. "I won't deny my White father to make you feel better. Stop being a race baiter, our president already does enough of it."
On Monday, Harris was named the presumptive 2024 Democratic presidential candidate after Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed her.
On Tuesday, Harris shared on social media that she was proud to have earned the necessary support to be her party's nominee.
Nearly 4,000 delegates at the upcoming Democratic National Convention, starting Aug. 19 in Chicago, have pledged their support to Harris.
From her presidential campaign's headquarters in Delaware, Harris delivered her first campaign speech on Monday.
Some MSNBC pundits were left with "chills" and "blown away" after hearing Harris' speech.
Donny Deutsch, an MSNBC pundit, stated that there was a twinkle in her eye and a kick in her step when she was vice president, as she knew there was someone above her and she didn't want to overshadow them. This was a significant coming out for her, and when she said "Donald Trump: I know your type," it sent chills down his spine, as he knew she was going to prosecute the case.
He continued, "I was blown away by her. I fell in love with her because she was smart, engaging, funny, feisty, and had a twinkle in her eye. She punched me in the gut with everything I wanted."
