Jimmy Kimmel welcomes guests critical of Trump on his post-debate show on ABC.
Conservatives criticized ABC News for bias during the moderated debate.
On Tuesday night, Jimmy Kimmel welcomed Jane Fonda and George Conway as guests on his late-night show, following a debate hosted by his network between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump.
Conway, a lawyer and co-founder of the left-wing Lincoln Project, stated that he had never seen a beatdown like the one Trump received in the ABC News Presidential Debate on Tuesday night, where Harris soundly defeated Trump.
Kimmel gleefully said he thought Trump had lost as well.
Fonda campaigned for Biden before he withdrew from the presidential race, while Conway also supported Harris' campaign.
Both Conway and Fonda spoke about the presidential race in interviews with Kimmel.
"Conway, a critic of Trump, stated that his debate performance was "bad." Meanwhile, she praised Sanders' performance, calling it "perfect" and "pitch perfect.""
Fonda ripped into Trump as bad on the climate in her interview.
The climate crisis is a serious issue that we cannot afford to ignore for four more years. The orange man's stance of "drill baby, drill" is a concerning reality that we must address. It is not just rhetoric; it is a real threat that we must take seriously.
Kimmel, a devoted Democrat, frequently uses his show to support the Democratic Party, just like Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers. He and Colbert were instrumental in organizing extravagant fundraisers for Biden during his presidential campaign.
On Tuesday night, Kimmel's network faced criticism from conservatives for the way they questioned Trump and Harris. They accused the moderators of being biased in Harris' favor, as they fact-checked Trump in real time but not Harris, despite her supporters arguing that she was more truthful.
Planet Chronicle Digital did not receive an immediate response from the Harris campaign when requested for a comment.
A Trump campaign spokesperson directed Planet Chronicle Digital to a statement on Trump's Truth Social account, which praised his "excellent debate performance" and criticized Kamala Harris' "terrible record of failure" that has harmed Americans for the past four years.
Planet Chronicle' Emma Colton contributed to this report.
