Jill Stein criticizes Democratic efforts to stifle competition, arguing they are not upholding democratic values.
The Green Party presidential candidate stated that the Democrats have made a mockery of themselves.
Jill Stein, the Green Party's presidential candidate, criticized the Democratic Party and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for criticizing her right to participate in elections as a third-party candidate.
Last week, Stein told The Hill that the Democrats have made a mockery of themselves and are not the servants of democracy.
Stein, a physician and climate change advocate, stated that the "Democrats have lost their own base and their attempt to stifle opposition is unacceptable."
The Green Party was challenged by the Democratic Party in three states, with an "army of lawyers" hired to remove them from the ballot.
Due to not meeting the state's minor party qualifiers, the Nevada Supreme Court ruled on Friday that Stein will not be on the presidential ballot.
In August, the Green Party declared victory after the Wisconsin state Supreme Court refused to hear the Democrats' attempt to remove her from the ballot. This decision could be a significant setback for Democrats, as Wisconsin is a crucial swing state in the upcoming election.
Stein's 2016 presidential campaign was criticized by some Democrats who claimed she diverted votes from Hillary Clinton. Stein received 1.07% of the popular vote in 2016 and 0.36% in 2012.
Ocasio-Cortez's criticism of the Green Party on Instagram prompted a direct response from Stein.
Stein's refusal to abandon his campaign was criticized by Ocasio-Cortez, who argued that his candidacy does not contribute to the addition of city council seats, state electives, and down-ballot candidates.
Stein has not achieved any successful strategies, has not expanded her party, and only appears every four years to address the justified anger of the people.
"That's bad leadership," the New York lawmaker added.
Ocasio-Cortez previously ran as a third-party candidate, specifically a "Working Families Party candidate," and has been critical of the "two-party system."
Ocasio-Cortez stated that "it does not read as authentic to me, it reads as predatory."
Stein stated that the Democrats have not been successful in their predatory tactics to silence political opposition, voters, and deny them the choices they desire. She mocked the anti-democratic party in her message delivery.
Last November, Stein declared her intention to run for the Green Party's presidential nomination in 2024.
Stein is running for president for the third time, having previously failed in 2012 and 2016.
Stein stated that Democrats are concerned that American voters are in a state of rebellion.
Stein stated that our campaign is the only anti-genocide, anti-war, climate emergency, pro-worker campaign that is currently on the ballot nationwide.
