Israel will not withdraw its troops from the remaining Hamas battalions in Rafah, according to Netanyahu: "We're going in there."
Four Hamas battalions remain, according to Israel's belief.
Netanyahu acknowledged a disagreement with the Biden administration over a significant Rafah operation but pledged to take whatever measures are necessary to defeat Hamas.
Netanyahu informed Sean Hannity on Planet Chronicle that there were still four Hamas battalions stationed in Rafah, and Israel will not permit them to remain.
""We're going in there to negotiate with the administration. I hope we can reach an understanding, but we'll do whatever it takes to prevent Hamas from taking back Gaza and fulfilling their promise to repeat the October 7th massacre," he stated."
The prime minister compared Israel's withdrawal of several Hamas battalions in Rafah to the Allies' departure of 20% of the Nazi army in Berlin during World War II.
""It's unacceptable to us as well," he added."
Earlier this month, President Biden informed CNN that he would halt the delivery of certain American weapons to Israel if it proceeds with a significant invasion of Rafah, which serves as a refuge for half of the enclave's 2.3 million inhabitants, according to Reuters.
"Biden stated that civilians have been killed in Gaza due to the bombs and methods used to target population centers. He clarified that if Israel enters Rafah, he will not provide the weapons that have traditionally been used to deal with the city and its population."
The Gaza side of the Rafah crossing has been under Israeli Defense Forces control since mid-May, with the military pushing further into the city.
Yesterday, a Rafah resident informed Reuters that Israeli military aircraft and ground vehicles continue to fire in the area.
Israel's battle is understood by the vast majority of Americans, except for the "extreme fringes on the progressive side," according to Netanyahu.
He explained that our victory in war will be your victory.
Last week, a Planet Chronicle poll revealed that opinions on U.S. support for Israel are divided, with 32% believing it is too supportive, 30% thinking it is not supportive enough, and 33% considering it to be just right.
Netanyahu pledged to persist in the battle against Hamas, which has been ongoing for eight months, in order to secure the release of the more than 120 hostages held in Gaza and eradicate the organization.
""We have adhered to the laws of war, but we will not rest until we have eliminated them, as the days of Jews being slaughtered and defenseless are over, and we will never allow such atrocities to happen again," he declared."
