Elon Musk responds to Taylor Swift's endorsement of Kamala Harris: "I will give you a child and guard your cats"
On Tuesday, Vice President Harris received an endorsement from Taylor Swift.
On Wednesday, Elon Musk, a billionaire, made a joke about Taylor Swift on X, a social media platform he owns.
"You win, Taylor. I will give you a child and protect your cats with my life," Musk wrote.
After Swift endorsed Vice President Harris on Instagram, Musk posted a message.
After the debate on Tuesday night hosted by ABC News, Swift endorsed Harris.
Swift announced on Instagram that she will be backing Harris because "she champions the rights and causes I believe require a fierce advocate."
"I have completed my research and made my decision. It is now up to you to do your own research and make your own choice. As a reminder, especially for first-time voters, in order to vote, you must be registered. Additionally, I suggest voting early as it is a more convenient option. I will provide a link to register and find early voting dates and information in my story."
Swift's reference to cat ladies was a critique of comments made by Trump's running mate JD Vance, who said in a 2021 interview that the country is being run by "a bunch of childless cat ladies" who are unhappy with their lives and want to make others miserable.
Over the past three decades, Musk has fathered 12 children with various women, as reported by CBS News.
