Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and owner of X, criticized the Vice President for a previous statement that characterized illegal immigrants as not being criminals.
On Thursday, Elon Musk, a billionaire, criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for a previous statement in which she stated that illegal immigrants are not criminals.
Despite her efforts to address the crisis at the southern border, Harris' campaign remains vulnerable to criticism from liberal media outlets who deny her role as President Biden's border czar. Additionally, her lack of transparency about her platform and accusations of flip-flopping on issues have further weakened her image.
In April 2017, Harris posted on social media that an undocumented immigrant is not a criminal, and Musk later shared this post.
Kamala made this statement, as confirmed by Musk.
Democrats have used the influx of migrants as an electoral strategy to gain voters, according to Musk.
"The US Democratic Party has a massive incentive to legalize illegal immigrants because they overwhelmingly vote Democrat, according to the writer. No grand conspiracy theory is needed, as the simple incentive of winning elections explains why they won't deport criminals who assault police officers on camera, as this would mean losing those votes."
In August, a study touting the electoral benefits of not deporting some illegal immigrants was linked to on Kamala Harris' 2019 campaign website, stating that the policy could provide sizable contributions to the margin of victory in swing states.
Harris' 2022 campaign has shifted its rhetoric on the border, adopting a more aggressive stance than her 2020 presidential campaign. New ads released by her campaign depict her as a tough on the border, featuring images of the Trump-era border wall, despite her previous criticism of it as "un-American."
In 2018, she wrote that Dreamers should not be pitted against their families or traded away like a commodity in exchange for a $25 billion wall that is un-American.
The Trump campaign accused Harris' campaign of depicting her as tough on the border.
