Democrats argue that Americans do not vote based on policy prescriptions when defending Harris' lack of substance.
The website of Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign lacks a policy section.
According to CNN, Democrats reportedly stated that Vice President Kamala Harris doesn't need to reveal her positions because Americans do not vote on policy.
A panel on CNN's "The Lead" discussed criticism of Harris not having a formal interview, press conference, or discussing policies after more than 32 days in office.
Manu Raju disclosed that those he spoke to at the Democratic National Convention believe Harris can still succeed by relying on vibes, as voters are not concerned with specifics.
Democrats are worried that her actions could give Trump ammunition, and many of them advised against policy prescriptions. Raju introduced a clip package of Democrats making this statement.
Georgia Rep. Nikema Williams stated that she hasn't heard from many voters seeking white papers and policy papers, but instead, they wanted to know about her vision for the country.
Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly stated that the American people do not make policy prescriptions through voting.
According to Michigan Rep. Dan Kildee, the American people's perception of this choice is more about the country's direction and the character of the person involved, rather than the specifics of policy.
Raju was informed by Connolly that Elizabeth Warren's collapse in the primary during her 2020 presidential campaign was due to her extensive white paper on every policy position.
Raju questioned whether voters would want to see more ideas on paper, despite the belief that it might be a bad idea.
If you follow your instincts, it's an election based on feelings.
"That’s right," CNN’s Erin Burnett agreed.
Yesterday, Burnett pondered if Harris would benefit from disregarding any invitations to participate in interviews or divulge her policy details.
"Burnett stated to media personality Charlamagne Tha God that she hasn't conducted a significant interview in a while and not since the announcement. Burnett asked if she would speak with her soon, what she thought she should do, or if she should ignore all calls to talk and continue with her current actions."
The official Harris-Walz website does not provide any specific policies as of Thursday, only short biographies of the Democratic nominees, information about donating and volunteering, but no overview of the campaign's policies.
