Biden's record cannot be avoided, even by Harris.
Harris was accused of stealing Trump's ideas by Lewandowski because her own made her "unelectable."
Corey Lewandowski, a Trump campaign adviser, cautioned on Sunday that Vice President Kamala Harris may be able to run, but she cannot evade her connection to the Biden administration's record.
In an interview with Howard Kurtz on Planet Chronicle, Lewandowski criticized Harris' apparent change in policy positions, including on key issues such as border security, fracking, and her recent decision to support Trump's call to abolish tip taxes for service industry workers.
He argued that she should not be promoted because she has never been a leader and has continuously changed her position.
"She takes over the Trump agenda on the positions that Donald Trump has articulated to the American people because she knows that her and her boss, Joe Biden, and her running mate Tim Walz, have an agenda that is outside of the mainstream and therefore unelectable," he added.
Harris initially stated her intention to prohibit fracking, a stance she later reversed. Additionally, she initially condemned Trump's stringent approach to border security but subsequently softened her own stance.
Kurtz questioned Lewandowski about the changes in Trump's language regarding abortion and marijuana decriminalization as they approached the center.
The American people are not voting on certain positions, but rather on crime, national security issues, and the economy, which remains the top issue.
"Donald Trump appointed three pro-life judges to the Supreme Court, who overturned Roe v. Wade, returning the issue of abortion to the states. Now, through elections, the states decide what their abortion laws will look like. The outcomes in Kansas and Ohio may differ significantly from those in New York or Arizona."
Despite the Trump campaign's claim that the former president would push for a national abortion ban, Democrats maintain that he would continue to advocate for state control over the issue.
The Democratic Party has emphasized their commitment to protecting abortion rights in the 2024 election.
