Biden doesn't want to quit the 2024 presidential race, according to Trump.
It appears that Biden may secure the nomination prior to the November election, according to Trump.
Despite calls from some members of his own party to step down after his disastrous debate performance, it appears that former President Trump believes President Biden will run for re-election in 2024.
In an interview with Planet Chronicle host Sean Hannity on Monday, Trump stated that Biden possesses an "ego" and is unwilling to resign.
Trump stated, "It seems to me that he might remain, and he possesses an ego. He doesn't want to quit. It simply appears to me that's what he desires."
In a letter to House Democrats on Monday, Biden announced his decision to remain in the presidential race and his determination to defeat Trump in November.
In the Democratic nomination process, the voters have spoken clearly and decisively, with Biden receiving over 14 million votes, 87% of the votes cast across the entire nominating process. Biden has nearly 3,900 delegates, making him the presumptive nominee of our party by a wide margin.
"If I were to respond to this situation, I would say with clarity and certainty: I would not be running again if I did not firmly believe I was the best candidate to defeat Donald Trump in 2024."
If Biden is removed or resigns, Trump believes Vice President Harris will take his place.
He told Hannity that he believes she is an ineffective person. Although she was in charge of the border, she has never been there, and she did not do a good job. Furthermore, she has not done a job on many things.
"Politically, it appears they're choosing that person as their candidate, without considering alternatives."
The only way Democrats can remove Biden from the presidential race is through the use of the 25th Amendment, as the former president stated, given the large number of delegates he has received so far.
""If they don't use the 25th amendment, he will retain all power. He has the delegates and doesn't need to leave. There's nothing they can do to remove him, so he will get the nomination," Trump stated."
Over the weekend, the House Democrats convened a virtual meeting to discuss the future of Biden's re-election campaign following his poor performance at the CNN Presidential Debate.
According to Chad Pergram, a senior congressional correspondent for Planet Chronicle, several top Democrats on House committees voiced their support for Biden to resign during a virtual meeting led by Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic House Minority Leader.
""The day after the debate, I publicly stated my support for President Joe Biden and the Democratic ticket, and my stance remains unchanged," Jeffries declared."
Biden and Trump are poised to square off for another debate in September..
