Biden biographer claims that the White House is 'fixated' on 'managing the narratives,' and it's a part of their 'genetic makeup.'
Since the CNN Presidential Debate, concerns about Biden's age and health have been avoided by the White House.
After his debate performance and media appearances, concerns about President Biden's age and mental fitness for office have intensified. Despite his determination to run for re-election, lawmakers are calling for more transparency from the White House regarding his health.
The biographer of Biden disclosed that the White House is "obsessed" with controlling the narratives about the president's health.
On "America's Newsroom," Thursday, President Biden biographer Chris Whipple stated that the DNA of the White House is controlling the narratives.
"They have always excelled at something they are extremely protective of, which I believe is too much. I think they should allow Biden to be Biden more often."
During Biden's presidency, his administration has faced criticism for its handling of the president's media and public appearances. Recent incidents, such as an instruction document to guide Biden to a fundraiser podium, have raised more concerns about the lack of transparency from the White House.
Despite the White House's efforts to support the president's public image, there are growing concerns about Biden's health after his debate performance, with some calling for him to withdraw from the race.
According to Whipple, even some of Biden's family and his inner circle were taken aback by that night's events.
According to a poll conducted by ABC News and the Washington Post, 67% of respondents believe Biden should withdraw from the presidential race, while 85% think he is unfit to serve another term due to his age.
Even among self-identified Biden supporters, 54% say he should drop out of the race.
According to The Associated Press, nine House Democrats have urged Biden to abandon his 2024 presidential bid following his poor debate performance in late August.
President Biden has announced his intention to run for re-election, a decision that Whipple had anticipated.
Whipple stated that the reason for assuming Biden would run for re-election is fascinating.
"During his presidency, Joe Biden was most shocked by the enduring influence of Trump and the MAGA movement, and he firmly believes he is the one to defeat him."
