Anti-Israel protesters are working against peace in Gaza, according to Fetterman.

As the seventh month of the conflict continues, Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., urged anti-Israel protesters to rally against Hamas and push for a cease-fire agreement.
On Tuesday, Fetterman was interviewed by "Special Report" about the ongoing anti-Israel protests on college campuses across the country.
"I'm not sure what they're protesting about, and they don't seem to know either," he said. "Now they're not talking about cease-fires and are instead discussing divesting and harming Israel. It's insane."
In recent weeks, several students have expressed their desire for their colleges to divest from Israel. The University of Southern California's Divest from Death Coalition has made a demand for a complete academic boycott of Israel, amnesty for students, staff, and faculty involved in anti-Israel protests, and an end to "war-profiteering."
The students at the University of Chicago's anti-Israel protest called for the removal of campus police funding and a 2030 reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.
Anti-Israel protesters demonstrating outside an Auschwitz Holocaust Remembrance Day event were criticized by Fetterman as having "tasteless" and "disgusting" behavior.
"Hamas believes they've won the PR war and sees protests on campuses as a victory, but this is counterproductive to peace in Gaza, according to the speaker on 'Special Report.'"
The Pennsylvania senator stated that protesting and exercising free speech are American values, but what is taking place on college campuses is not the same.
On several college campuses, chants of "From the river to the sea" and "Long live the intifada" have been heard, causing some Jewish students to express fear about attending class.
Over 100 individuals were apprehended by NYPD officers at Columbia University's Hamilton Hall last week following a protest where anti-Israel demonstrators entered the building and occupied it for an extended period.
Fetterman stated that he is "unconcerned" about the source of funding for anti-Israel protests, as some groups supporting pro-Palestinian causes are also among President Biden's top donors.
He stated that it doesn't matter if you are a paid or unpaid protester. If you are going to protest, you should be protesting against Hamas and demanding a cease-fire, or they should return the hostages.
Fetterman stated that he has encountered anti-Israel protesters at his Philadelphia office and considers it to be "paid agitation."
The former mayor of Braddock stated that he believes the Biden administration should not withhold weapons from Israel and that he cannot fathom imposing any conditions on aid to be sent to the United States' closest ally in the Middle East as it continues its conflict with Hamas.
"I have no conditions," he stated. "I have never had them, and I can't envision ever having them."
