A man waving a Hamas flag asked a Planet Chronicle correspondent, "What's wrong with October 7?"
At the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, a man holding a Hamas flag declared that "all Palestinians support Hamas" and commended the terror group for carrying out the October 7 massacre in Israel.
Anti-Israel protesters, many of them masked, swarmed the streets outside the convention hall where DNC attendees convened inside.
During his interview with Bret Baier on "Special Report" Monday, Tobin described the various causes represented by the protesters on the ground. However, he noted that his conversation with a man carrying a Hamas flag was particularly significant.
In a clip of the exchange, Tobin asked the unidentified man, "Do you support Hamas?"
""Every Palestinian supports Hamas," he stated."
A man wearing dark sunglasses and appearing middle-aged can be seen wearing a cap with the words "Palestine" on it. The Hamas flag and a Palestinian flag were shared on a pole.
"Do you support October 7?" Tobin asked.
"What's wrong with October 7?" the man asked, to which he replied, "Yes I do."
On October 7, 2023, Hamas militants killed, injured, or captured hundreds of civilians, including babies, women, the elderly, and soldiers. Over 100 hostages, mostly civilians, were abducted by Hamas and are currently being held in captivity. It is believed that five Americans are among them.
The man, visibly angered, responded to Tobin's reminder about the innocent women and children killed in the senseless attack by saying, "This is all bulls---."
The DNC is expected to see thousands of protesters rallying against the Biden-Harris administration's support for Israel in its nearly 11-month war with Hamas in Gaza.
On Sunday, a masked protester who was against Israel disrupted the DNC welcome party at Navy Pier in Chicago. The protester grabbed a microphone and shouted, "You are funding a genocide," after storming the stage. The protester's statement was, "The Harris-Biden administration keeps sending money to Israel."
Protesters were chanting "Free, free Palestine" as they were being dragged offstage.
The Coalition to March on the DNC started a protest against the Israel-Hamas war in Chicago's Union Park on Monday. Five more publicly announced rallies are scheduled before the convention's final ceremonies on Thursday, according to FOX 32 Chicago.
The Chicago area boasts one of the largest Palestinian communities in the country, and buses transported activists from across the nation for Monday's march and rally. Organizers aimed for at least 20,000 attendees.
Despite hosting the most political conventions in the U.S., Chicago continues to be associated with the 1968 convention, where police and anti-Vietnam War protesters clashed violently on live TV.
In anticipation of potential mass arrests, some businesses secured their windows and county courts prepared to provide additional space.
