North Carolina high school team inspired by coach CB's techniques, as shared on 'Fox & Friends'
A coach with a big personality and pre-game pep talks has become viral.
Millions have been won over by the basketball coaching videos of five-year-old Christopher Bess, which have become viral.
On "Fox & Friends" Friday, Christopher exclaimed, "Every day is game day!"
Reginald, the father of Christopher, who is known as Coach CB, assists him in coaching the Tarboro High School varsity boys' basketball team in North Carolina.
"When I say I coach my whole butt off, I mean it! And when we all play our whole butts off, we'll win!" Coach CB told players during a pre-game speech.
At the age of two, Christopher began to develop a love for coaching, which was later reinforced when he dressed up as a coach while in pre-K. His ultimate goal is to follow in his father's footsteps and become a coach.
Reginald, who has been coaching for nearly two decades, stated that the team accepts Coach CB and hears him out like any other coach.
Reginald remarked, "It's incredible to see high school boys gather around him. He talks to them on the sidelines, encouraging them to keep their heads up."
"It's amazing to see how the kids adapt to him."
Christopher also likes to motivate his 14-year-old freshman brother on the team.
The coach has gained recognition in the North Carolina community and was invited to coach the high school all-star game.
Reginald said, "He got the invitation yesterday, so we had it, but he asked me, 'Does that mean you sit on the bench and I stand up, or do you stand up and I sit on the bench?' I said, 'You can stand up and coach, man.'"
Coach CB, the "2024 Coach of the Year," delivered a motivational speech on the morning show.
"Big-time players make big-time plays in big-time games."
