Wildfires force evacuation of Nevada home by Jeremy Renner.
In 2023, a near-fatal snowplow accident occurred at Jeremy Renner's Nevada home, which is also his movie star residence.
A wildfire forced Jeremy Renner to evacuate from his home in Reno, Nevada.
Renner, 53, thanked firefighters for their help while sharing scenes of the Davis Fire on his Instagram stories.
"On Sunday, he wrote, "Everyone is evacuated and safe. Now for Mother Nature." On Tuesday, the "Avengers" star shared updates on social media, noting, "Fire support working hard to protect our community.""
Renner posted photos showing how close the fire was to his Nevada home.
One photo of the Davis Fire was captioned by him from his driveway.
In a video, red fire retardant chemicals were dropped from an airplane onto trees in the background.
The Davis Fire, which started in the Davis Creek Regional Park in Washoe Valley, grew to about 10 square miles (26 square kilometers) outside Reno, Nevada, after igniting Sunday afternoon. It burned in heavy timber and brush, according to firefighters.
On Sunday, Gov. Joe Lombardo declared an emergency for Washoe County, stating that approximately 20,000 individuals were evacuated from various areas, including neighborhoods, businesses, parks, and campgrounds.
On Monday, some parts of south Reno remained under an evacuation notice, and certain homes, businesses, and traffic signals in the area were without power, firefighters stated.
In January 2023, Renner was hospitalized for two weeks after being run over by a snowplow in the driveway of his Reno home, resulting in a near-fatal accident.
Renner was airlifted to the hospital after suffering blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries in a snowplow accident. Despite the injuries, he remained conscious.
"Renner stated on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" that it was like seeing his eye with his other eye because his eyeball was out. This led to strange thoughts like "Well, I guess that's real, but I'll worry about that later.""
"I examine my legs, which are tangled, and I'll address that later since I need to focus on breathing first."
