Tori Spelling's brother was once attacked with a letter opener by her.
Randy Spelling is six years older than Tori Spelling.
During their childhood, Tori Spelling and Randy Spelling's sibling rivalry escalated to an attempted stabbing.
In the "misSPELLING" podcast episode on Tuesday, Tori invited her younger brother as a guest and the siblings reminisced about their childhood, discovering that it was "familiar."
"Tori stated that people from the outside may believe our childhood was not relatable, but she believes that we had the sibling relationship, fights, and enjoyable times, including the time when she tried to stab her sibling."
Tori revealed that she had two options for a weapon, "a letter opener and a rock." Randy recounted the event and pointed out that the "Beverly Hills, 90210" actress would become enraged and lash out when she was furious.
At the time, Tori was 14 and Randy was 8 or 9, and although they couldn't recall their exact ages, they estimated these ages based on their recollections. Tori had recently started a new school and was in the habit of calling her friends every night.
"We still had the sibling relationship, and we still had the fights, the fun times, all of it. There was the time I tried to stab you." — Tori Spelling
""You would always be at the door and listening!" Tori shouted at her brother."
Randy replied, "That's so sad, all I wanted was attention."
Randy drove Tori "bat s--- f---ing crazy" and she snapped.
She grabbed her crystal, King Arthur sword in the stone, letter opener, and ran out to try to stab him, she said.
In the episode, Randy mentioned that he is still troubled by the expression on Tori's face that night, even though she later stated that she had no intention of stabbing him.
Tori's anger on the podcast was not unique; she had also experienced a similar level of fury during a confrontation with her ex, Dean McDermott.
"The last fight between Dean and me," she stated, "I threw my baked potato with incredible force across the kitchen."
The former couple's relationship ended in June 2023 due to a fight that was the final straw.
On March 29, the "Beverly Hills, 90210" star filed for divorce and cited June 17, 2023, as the date of separation. She requested spousal support from McDermott and asked to terminate the court's ability to award spousal support to her estranged husband.
The couple share five children, and Spelling requested full custody of them, as well as joint legal custody.
In July 2005, while filming "Mind Over Matter," the two individuals who were previously married to other people began a relationship.
In May 2006, less than a month after their divorces were finalized, both of them divorced their respective spouses and married each other.
