Tori Spelling, daughter of Candy Spelling, has faced numerous personal challenges.
Spelling stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that she is a survivor of everything and can be expected to handle any situation as well as possible.
Spelling responded "Yes, doing great" when asked about Tori and the family's well-being.
Candy Spelling and her friend, reality TV star Josh Flagg, were thrilled to attend the Clive Davis annual pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday.
She stated that it's been about 50 years since he started doing this, and everyone who's anyone wants to attend this party, making it almost as exciting as the Grammys.
In the past year, Tori, Spelling's daughter, has gone through a number of difficulties.
In June, Dean McDermott announced on Instagram that he and Tori Spelling had decided to end their 18-year marriage and start new journeys.
The couple, who married in 2006, have five children together: Liam, 16, Finn, 10, Beau, 6, Stella, 15, and Hattie, 11. Spelling has not publicly commented about the separation.
Tori and her family have been dealing with health issues following issues with "extreme mold" in the house they had been renting, in addition to the breakdown of her marriage.
In May, she shared her concerns about the family's health issues, which had been ongoing, and requested advice from a "mold lawyer."
In August, Tori revealed that she spent four days in the hospital without disclosing the cause of her illness.
Tori later posted on social media that she and her five children were staying in an RV together, but it was uncertain whether it was due to necessity or for leisure.
"As long as we have each other, we'll make priceless memories on the road this summer. #summer2023 #familytime #ontheroad #backtoschool," Spelling wrote in her Instagram caption. None of the photos featured McDermott.
In a November interview with The Daily Mail, McDermott accused Candy Spelling of not assisting Tori or their children despite their financial difficulties.
"McDermott stated that the outlet's daughter was her own flesh and blood, and that she had grandbabies. She added that, given her blessings, it would be nice for her to share with her daughter."
Over the years, both the mother and daughter have admitted multiple times that they haven't had a particularly close relationship, and at times they've been distant from each other.
In September, Tori expressed her gratitude to her mother on social media by sharing a throwback photo and writing in the caption, "I am so grateful for the beautiful life you raised Rand and me in with Dad. You have made me the resilient and strong person I am today."
"Our family has a legacy of strong women, and I am continuing that tradition."
According to McDermott, Candy is not very involved with the couple's five children.
"He stated in his interview with the Daily Mail that the true shame is for her to miss out on these exceptional children, who are truly beautiful and gifted."
After dealing with alcohol addiction, McDermott spent the past summer in rehab and later moved into a sober living home.
Planet Chronicle Digital's Emily Trainham and Stephanie Giang-Paunon contributed to this report.
