Tim Burton's home contains unexpected treasures, as revealed by Jenna Ortega.
'The actor who played Beetlejuice in the film of the same name also collaborated with Burton on the Netflix series 'Wednesday'.'
Tim Burton's home is being shown to fans by Jenna Ortega.
In a recent Vanity Fair interview, the actress disclosed that the renowned director had invited her to his home for a meeting. She described the residence, highlighting the distinctive decor that included his figurines of "little creatures."
"As Ortega explained, the throne from 'Alice in Wonderland' greeted you upon entry, and a jar of eyeballs awaited in the bathroom."
Hollywood recognizes Burton as the unique director of imaginative films such as "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Edward Scissorhands," "Sweeney Todd," and many others.
The actress and the director first collaborated on season one of the popular Netflix show "Wednesday," where Ortega portrayed the lead character, Wednesday Addams. Although she was uncertain about the purpose of the meeting at Burton's residence, Ortega did not anticipate it would unfold as it did.
She stated, "He handed me a script, and it was 'Beetlejuice,'" with a tone of disbelief.

In February 2022, a sequel to the 1988 film was announced after years of fans requesting one. Upon reading the script for the first time, Ortega exclaimed, "Wow, they've really pulled off something special here!"
In the sequel "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," the original film's stars, including Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, and Michael Keaton, return to reprise their roles, including Keaton as the lively ghost Beetlejuice.
Burton described Ortega as one of his favorite collaborators, stating that she is unique among the people he has worked with. He compared her to Ryder, who has appeared in four of his films.
""They were like silent movie actors, both possessing a very strong soul as young people," he remarked."
Burton and Ryder first collaborated on "Beetlejuice" when she was 17, and later starred in his films "Edward Scissorhands" and "Frankenweenie."
Both Ryder and Ortega have experienced significant achievements since collaborating with Burton. Ryder has been nominated for two Academy Awards and now stars on Netflix's "Stranger Things," while Ortega has received an Emmy nomination for "Wednesday" and starred in the "Scream" reboot.
Vanity Fair received an email from Ryder stating that Ortega is one of the most authentic individuals he has ever met.
