Sydney Sweeney is prepared to reprise her role as Cassie in "Euphoria."

Sweeney's career took off when she landed a role in a controversial TV show following her successful stints in "The Handmaid's Tale" and "Sharp Objects."

"The 26-year-old actress expressed her excitement to jump back into the character of Cassie in People magazine, stating that she is one of the most special characters for her and she loves her Euphoria family, so she eagerly anticipates it."

"The crazier Cassie gets, the more I love her," she said.

Filming for the third season of "Euphoria" is set to commence in January 2025, following a prolonged hiatus.

However, Sweeney was tight-lipped about the details.

She admitted to People magazine that she has no knowledge about it.

In a previous interview with The Independent, Sweeney stated that her performance in Season 1 of "Euphoria" was not discussed because she "got naked."

Sweeney expressed to the outlet that "The White Lotus" recognition of her hard work had been long overdue, something that had been bothering her for a while.

"I'm proud of my work in 'Euphoria,' but no one talks about it because I got naked. However, when I did 'The White Lotus,' critics started paying attention. I was like, 'Did you not see that in 'Euphoria' and 'The Handmaid's Tale'?"

Sweeney stated that she believes there is a stigma against actresses who appear nude on screen in the industry.

She stated that when a man displays a sex scene or reveals his body, he continues to receive accolades and admiration. However, the instant a woman does the same, the situation changes drastically.

In Season 2 of "Euphoria," some of Cassie's nude scenes were removed by Sweeney because the actress believed they were not "essential."

"Sam Levinson, the director, never pushed for a nude scene in the HBO show and respected Sweeney's decision when she didn't want to do it."
