Several times over the summer, Witherspoon and Haarmann were seen together. On Wednesday, the pair were spotted holding hands in New York City. The "Morning Show" actress wore a tight, black dress, and Haarmann wore a navy blazer and khakis.
On September 4, the pair attended an Assouline opening event in New York City and are reportedly "casually" dating, according to People's sources.
The source informed the outlet that they are "maintaining a platonic relationship" and "approaching dating with caution."

According to LinkedIn, Haarmann, 57, holds a masters in business administration from both Brown and Harvard.
Haarmann began his career at KKR, a global investment firm in London, before founding the private equity firm Searchlight Capital Partners in 2010. As per the company's website, Haarmann remains a partner at Searchlight Capital and works alongside the two co-founders to manage the firm's portfolio.
Minority owner of the New York Islanders
In December 2023, Sportico reported that Haarmann was in talks to purchase a 10% stake in the New York Islanders. Later, the New York Post reported that Haarmann had acquired a small ownership stake in the professional ice hockey team.
The New York Islanders directory lists Haarmann as a co-owner.
Haarmann has been married
Mala Gaonkar, Haarmann's ex-wife, is a financier who founded her own hedge fund, SurgoCap Partners, in 2022.
Spotted with Witherspoon
In July, Witherspoon and Haarmann dined at L'Artusi in New York City, where they had flown in the day before via helicopter.
The duo took a helicopter into the city again in September.
The couple's sons, Deacon and Tennessee, were also present in NYC with them.
