Orlando Bloom's household chores elicited a racy response from Katy Perry.
In an episode of "Call Her Daddy," Perry revealed details about her relationship with "The Lord of the Rings" star. The couple first started dating in 2016, but split after a year. They reunited in 2018 and got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2019.
In the new interview, Perry stated that a red flag in a relationship is a partner who doesn't contribute.
"The pop star explained that the load can be heavy for women and there are many invisible things that they do, and it's about sharing that load."
Bloom and Perry attended "numerous couples' therapy sessions" to "develop" as individuals and as a couple, according to Perry. He stated, "I believe the purpose of our relationship is to improve ourselves as humans so that we can raise our wonderful three-year-old daughter, Daisy."
"Perry confessed that one of his love languages is acts of service, meaning that if he comes downstairs to a clean kitchen, with all the dishes done and pantry doors closed, he expects a certain response."
""I don't need a red Ferrari. I can buy a red Ferrari. Just do the f---ing dishes!" she added."
In 2018, after a year apart, Perry and Bloom reignited their romance. The "California Girls" singer disclosed the reasons behind their brief separation.
"She told Alex Cooper of "Call Her Daddy" that they weren't really committed from the start."
"Perry explained that he had just come out of a celibacy period and had set intentions, while I was fresh out of a relationship and felt like I needed to switch things up by going to a new pond, but I hadn't done much work yet."
According to Perry, the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star stopped playing the "cat-mouse game" after attending a retreat at the Hoffman Institute during their relationship.
"I had a challenging year, but I discovered Hoffman towards the end of that year we were apart. This led me to gain the tools and language, which transformed my life. I am grateful for this process and meditation, as it saved my life and allowed me to be here today."
