Nick Cannon claims Mariah Carey no longer desires him: "I've moved past my reckless behavior."
Cannon, a father of 12, stated that he would definitely reunite with Carey.
Nick Cannon may have desired a reconciliation with ex-wife Mariah Carey, but he has come to terms with the fact that it is unlikely to occur.
In an August interview with E! News, Cannon stated that he would "absolutely" reunite with Carey.
"If I weren't stupid, we wouldn't belong together," said the host of "The Masked Singer."
In a recent interview with People Magazine, Cannon admitted that his chance to be with the "Fantasy" singer has expired.
"Yeah, she doesn't want me anymore," he said. "She's moved on from my craziness."
Carey and Cannon started dating in early 2008 and got married on her Bahamas estate in April of that year. They welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011, but they separated in 2014 and finalized their divorce in 2016.
Despite their differences, Cannon and the five-time Grammy Award winner have maintained a friendly relationship and continue to co-parent Moroccan and Monroe.
Since their divorce, Cannon has fathered 10 more children with five different women.
Brittany Bell, a comedian and model, has three children with her partner: Golden Sagon, a 7-year-old, Powerful Queen, a 3-year-old, and Rise Messiah, a 6-month-old. Additionally, she shares three-year-old twins Zion and Zillion, as well as a one-year-old daughter, Beautiful, with radio personality Abby De La Rosa.
Bre Tiesi, a reality star, has two children with Cannon, Legendary Love, 2, and Onyx Ice, who is one year old.
Cannon's youngest child is Halo Marie, a one-year-old daughter he shares with Alyssa Scott. They also have a son, Zen, who passed away at five months old in 2021 from brain cancer.
Cannon stated that he has strong co-parenting relationships with all the mothers of his children while speaking with People.
"To their credit, you know what I mean?" he said. "Dealing with me must be madness."
If you prioritize the kids and set aside ego, you can accomplish anything, Cannon stated.
The "America's Got Talent" contestant disclosed information about the enjoyable "summer" he spent with his kids.
"Cannon stated that the children had a great time in Malibu as they spent a lot of time traveling and visiting the beach, according to People."
Cannon recalls "fun" memories from his younger years as he prepares his brood to return to school.
He said, "School shopping for clothes with the kids and getting them excited reminds me of when I was in school."
Some of Cannon's children were hesitant to resume school and bid farewell to summer.
Cannon stated that Golden, his 7-year-old in fourth grade, is so intelligent that even school is uninteresting to him.
He continued, "So it's like reigniting his enthusiasm because he had so much fun during the summer. So, all right, 'We can still have just as much fun during the school year,' but it's just maintaining the excitement."
Moroccan and Monroe being teenagers makes Cannon feel scared as a father.
"Becoming a young woman before my eyes is very scary," he said. "Teenagers are scary."
