Christie Brinkley and Chevy Chase are still on their adventure 41 years after the release of "National Lampoon's Vacation."

Brinkley and Chase, both in their 70s, delighted fans with a "Holiday Road" trip down memory lane during their joyful reunion.

The two Hollywood actors expressed their disappointment that vacations end too quickly by sharing the sentiment on Instagram with a car emoji.

In a selfie from the back seat of a vehicle, Brinkley and Chase were grinning ear-to-ear in the series of photos.

Brinkley wore a tan sweater and adorned it with large blue rings on her fingers. Chase wore a light teal shirt with a pink buttoned-up shirt over him and donned red-rimmed glasses. He completed his look with a white hat.

The duo recorded a video of their car journey, with Chase visible waving to the camera.

The photos from the past have been released more than four decades after the first film.
