'Kody Brown, star of 'Sister Wives,' claims his exes betrayed him: "I am absolutely furious!"'
In the past three years, Kody Brown's first three wives have all left him.
The upcoming season of "Sister Wives" promises to deliver all the drama, including marital issues and betrayal.
The trailer for the TLC reality show, released on Monday, shows Kody Brown having a breakdown after three of his four wives ended their relationships with him. Now, Kody is only married to Robyn Brown, who feels their marriage is being tested.
Kody was previously married to Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, and Meri Brown.
"I am out of my mind!" exclaimed Kody, "They have all betrayed me!"
In her confessional interview, Robyn revealed that she believed her husband had been undermining their relationship.
"I feel like the one who was left behind," Robyn said.
Robyn has always been open about marrying Kody not only for love but also to embrace a polygamist lifestyle and have sister wives. However, in recent seasons, as Kody's other relationships have crumbled, she has expressed dissatisfaction with the idea of a monogamous marriage.

In the trailer, Christine stated that she would not be friendly towards her ex-husband, Kody. Christine was the first to leave Kody in 2021, and in October 2023, she married David Woolley.
In 2022, Kody's strict COVID-19 pandemic rules led to an argument with Janelle, which resulted in her leaving him.
Kody had urged that their adult sons be removed from her home because they were still socializing with friends during the lockdown, but she refused, and as a result, Kody felt like she was disregarding him.
In the trailer, Janelle stated, "I'm not really missing him."
In a new trailer for the upcoming season, Meri announced that her relationship with Kody, her first husband, is officially over. Their problems have been ongoing for several years, with Kody consistently stating that he has no desire to be with her. He has even expressed regret for marrying her.
The 19th season of "Sister Wives" premieres on TLC on September 15th.
The Brown family, who lived in Utah, were featured in "Sister Wives" when it first aired in 2010. They were a plural family and the show documented their lifestyle. However, they eventually moved to Nevada in 2010 to escape Utah's strict bigamy laws, which were not decriminalized until 2020.
Kody, who had four wives - Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn, and a total of 18 children, lost one of his children, Janelle's son Garrison, to suicide last year at the age of 25.
