Hugh Jackman is still in superhero shape.
On Wednesday, "Deadpool & Wolverine" actor Jackman shared a shirtless mirror selfie on Instagram with his 34 million followers, captioning it with "I am grateful."
Jackman included a nearly four-minute-long voice note with his shirtless selfie, acknowledging the contributions of "eight people" in helping him achieve his physique.
"He stated, "I've received numerous inquiries about my fitness journey, including what I did, ate, and trained. People often ask how challenging it is at my age. I simply wanted to acknowledge that while I had to put in the effort, I had a fantastic team that supported me. Without them, I would not have achieved my fitness goals.""
Jackman acknowledged Beth Lewis, his trainer for several years, and Whitney James, his makeup artist for "Deadpool & Wolverine," in his recent statement.
"Hugh, the actor, was put on oil by Whitney, his makeup artist, to make his skin glisten," he explained. "Shawn Levy, the director, would shout, ‘Fresh lube on Hugh!’ and everyone would laugh."
Fans and his peers quickly congratulated Jackman on maintaining his physique.
The time spent in the gym was worth it, as Lindsey Vonn remarked.
Another user wrote, 'Hugh, I am also great grateful... Thank you.' Another added, 'I am grateful too!'

Jackman discussed his preparation for getting back into superhero shape with People in May. He revealed that most of his physical preparation involved working with stunt coordinator Brian Smrz on "dance training" to enhance his performance in various scenes.
Jackman revealed to the outlet that he "enjoys" the concept of blending dance with his stunts, despite his advancing age.
Jackman stated, "Upon my return, I found it to be highly enjoyable, and my excitement was palpable. Although my body felt a bit sore initially, I was thrilled that it was still responsive. Moreover, I recognized the benefits it has for mental health."
The most challenging aspect of preparing for the film was not the exercise or choreography, but the diet, according to the actor. Jackman revealed that he struggled with maintaining a muscular physique to play "Wolverine," which proved to be quite difficult for him.
""Being naturally skinny, gaining weight is the most challenging part for me, as it's the aspect that causes me the most stress," he stated."
Reynolds, who was also present in the interview, commented on the five to six meals a day diet, saying, "While it may sound appealing to some, it's not the type of food that one would truly enjoy."
Despite being friends with Jackman for 17 years, Reynolds admitted that he felt intimidated when he saw him on set.
"Reynolds stated that in the film, they would frequently change things and say, "OK, let's try this and that." The physicality, dance, and background were particularly effective, as he was convinced that Hugh Jackman was not pulling his punch. Reynolds added, "I will be decapitated by Hugh Jackman, and that will be his f---ing cross to bear, not mine.""
"Reynolds stated, "When Hugh Jackman is approaching at 150 Australian miles per hour, you feel certain you'll be dead in four seconds. This memory will stay with me forever, and I'm grateful for the mask because under it, my face is saying, 'Oh God!'""
