Hollywood director Tim Burton's vision cannot be replicated by AI, says 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' star.
Rory, portrayed by Justin Theroux, is a fresh addition to the 'Beetlejuice' universe crafted by Tim Burton.
Tim Burton's vision cannot be replicated by artificial intelligence, as argued by Hollywood actor Justin Theroux.
According to the "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" actor, he believes that artificial intelligence will not affect Hollywood directors, including Burton, in the future.
Theroux stated that upon viewing the film, individuals would comprehend that he believes no Tim Burton movie could have been created by AI.
"He is so singular in his vision."
Although Theroux believes that AI cannot replicate Burton's vision, the actor believes that the advanced technology will be featured in future films.

Theroux believes that AI films or films written to some extent by AI will exist in the future.

"I think when people see this film, they'll understand that I don't think there'll ever be a Tim Burton movie that could have been made by AI. … I think it's very difficult to duplicate what comes out of that man's head." — Justin Theroux
Burton's criticism of AI recreations of his characters preceded Theroux's comments.
In September 2023, the "Wednesday" director stated that he is aware of the potential threat that AI poses to animation, which he believes is greater than any other art form. He expressed his concern by saying, "They had AI do my versions of Disney characters!" in mock horror to The Independent.
"The sensation it evokes is indescribable; it evoked memories of when different cultures caution against capturing images, asserting that doing so strips away one's essence."
Burton stated that while he acknowledged some of the AI-generated examples as "good," he found the experience of seeing his own artistry cloned and imitated to be unsettling. He elaborated, "What it does is it drains something from you. It takes something from your spirit or mind; that is very unsettling, especially if it involves you. It's like a machine stealing your humanity, your soul."
The director is preparing for the launch of his eagerly awaited sequel, "Beetlejuice 2."
