Demi Moore reveals her unusual nighttime routine and jokes it's the secret to her single status.
At 61, 'The Substance' actor has been married three times.
Demi Moore is nothing if not self-aware.
The 61-year-old actress, who is experiencing a resurgence in fame due to positive reviews of her upcoming film, "The Substance," is excited about what the future holds but lacks a romantic partner to share it with.
In a new interview, Moore humorously identified the precise cause of her ongoing single status, despite having been married and divorced three times.
On "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," Moore discussed a range of topics, including her love for her 1.5-pound dog Pilaf, who has accompanied the star to various events such as fashion shows, film festivals, and late-night appearances.
"Moore exclaimed that she was a magical creature who had come to teach him a new way to walk, and he believed it was effective."
Moore was reminded by Fallon that she is the mother of a diverse group of dogs, as Fallon played an Instagram video of Moore's nine dogs eagerly awaiting her return home. Additionally, Moore shared a photo on Instagram of her seven smaller dogs crammed into a miniature dog bed, with a larger dog standing over them.
Pilaf is closest to the door, off the bed.
Moore confirmed that she sleeps with her animals and said, "If my nighttime routine was filmed, it would show how eccentric I really am."
"To accommodate the size of the pillows, I need to prop them up so that they can fit under the covers. I have two beds for the little ones, which are within the larger beds," she explained.
"You take care of 'em!" Fallon said.
"Of course! That's why I'm single," Moore replied, causing both Fallon and the audience to burst into laughter.

Although she is unattached, Moore revealed to Fallon that she has found a new "love of her life" in her granddaughter Louetta.
Rumer Willis' first child is the sweetest little thing, Moore said, although it's somewhat surreal.
Moore revealed that she prefers to be called "YaYa" instead of "Grandma," which she considers a strategic choice.
"I knew that my verbal skills would be high on her list, so I positioned it perfectly. And I am," she revealed. "YaYa came out quite early."
"The Substance," directed by Moore, will be released on September 18th.
