Armie Hammer is selling his truck due to financial difficulties caused by cannibalism accusations.

Armie Hammer is forced to switch up his previously lavish lifestyle and downsize.

The "Lone Ranger" actor admitted he had to sell his truck because he couldn't afford gas after relocating to Los Angeles.

"I've been back in LA for a couple of weeks now. This is my truck. I bought it for myself in 2017 as a Christmas gift because I've had pickup trucks for a long time and I love this one intensely," Hammer stated in an Instagram video.

He took his black pickup truck on "cross-country" road trips and camping excursions, and he cherished his vehicle.

He confessed that he was driving his car for a final road trip to Carmax, the car retailer.

"Since being back in LA, I have put about four or five hundred dollars worth of gas in it, and I can’t afford it. I can’t afford the gas anymore." — Armie Hammer

Since it held special memories for him, including taking his kids home from the hospital and other "amazing trips," Hammer was hesitant to sell his vehicle.

"But you know what? That’s okay. I got a new car. It’s tiny. It’s a hybrid. I’m probably going to put about 10 bucks of gas in it a month and this is it."

Before selling his truck, the "The Social Network" actor displayed the items he needed to clean out, which included a bundle of rope, a medicine bottle, and a packet of gum.

On his 38th birthday on Aug. 28, Hammer decided to sell his vehicle.

"In Los Angeles, I will begin my new life, new apartment, and new car on my birthday."

He seemed emotional in the long video about selling his cherished pickup truck, and his kids were unhappy about the decision since they made many memories with the truck.

Elizabeth Chambers and Hammer share two children, Harper, 9, and Ford, 7. The couple divorced in June 2023.

Last month, Hammer stated that he was "broke" but "happier than ever," and now his video has been released.

After multiple women accused him of "cannabalism" and sexual abuse, he experienced an "ego death," a "career death," and "financial death."

In January 2021, when the sexual abuse allegations against him surfaced, Hammer revealed that he was broke. During a "Club Random" podcast episode with Bill Maher, he confirmed that he did not receive any financial support from his family.

"The actor stated in the interview that someone might perceive them differently financially, but they have learned that they don't need that because they are currently the happiest they have ever been in their entire life."

An anonymous Instagram account, House of Effie, made the first allegation that Hammer shared sexual fantasies with multiple women involving cannibalism. Unverified screenshots purportedly showed messages exchanged between Hammer and an unidentified woman, detailing BDSM acts and admitting that the actor was "100% a cannibal."

Hammer's ex-girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, stated that he had a desire to smoke and eat her ribs, which was "definitely disturbing."

The actor was accused of rape by at least two other women, but he denied all allegations.

In 2023, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office declared that Hammer would not be charged with any offenses related to the accusations.
