TNA Wrestling and WWE announce long-term collaboration.
Both companies' talent will be featured on each other's programs.
On Thursday, WWE and TNA Wrestling declared a joint multi-year partnership, allowing talent to perform for either company.
In 2024, talent from both WWE's NXT and TNA's "IMPACT" may appear on each other's shows. Superstar wrestlers could also appear on select WWE premium live events and TNA pay-per-views in the future.
Ariel Shnerer, senior vice president of Anthem Sports & Entertainment and TNA Wrestling, stated in a news release that the historic relationship between the two brands shows that collaboration and competition do not have to be mutually exclusive. The partnership allows TNA Wrestling and its talented athletes to reach a wider audience, while providing WWE and NXT stars with an opportunity to gain valuable experience by joining forces with one of the most skilled rosters in professional wrestling today.
"Our collaboration over the past year has been successful, with both companies benefiting greatly. However, the greatest rewards have gone to the fans as a result of this talent crossover and working relationship."
TNA Wrestling's partnership with WWE's senior vice president of talent development creative, Shawn Michaels, will continue to grow and evolve, creating new opportunities for talent development and enhancing the viewer experience at home.
Wrestlers from TNA and WWE NXT have previously appeared on each other's programs.
In 2024, Jordynne Grace began the year with a participation in the women's Royal Rumble. She later competed against Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship at Battleground.
During the spring and summer of 2024, Joe Hendry's popularity increased significantly. He came close to defeating Ethan Page at No Mercy for the NXT Championship.
Former TNA stars have also appeared in WWE over the last few years.
The TNA brand has been competed for by several wrestlers, including Cody Rhodes, A.J. Styles, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, CM Punk, Xavier Woods, Penta, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Chelsea Green, and Zelina Vega.
