What are Vance and Walz's favorability ratings 60 days before the election?
Minnesota Governor Walz relies on his persona while Vance criticizes the governor's lack of transparency.
A recent poll from USA Today and Suffolk University shows that Gov. Tim Walz is leading Sen. JD Vance in favorability ratings as they approach Election Day.
A survey conducted after the Democratic National Convention in Chicago found that 36% of likely voters have a favorable view of Vance, while 48% approve of Walz. Meanwhile, former President Trump's running mate fared similarly among independents, with 47% having an unfavorable view of Vance and 36% having an unfavorable view of Walz, who is running alongside Vice President Kamala Harris.
A poll conducted by USA Today and Suffolk University from August 25-28 involved 1,000 likely voters, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
After adopting a media blitz strategy, Vance has accepted interviews with hostile outlets, while Walz and Harris have faced criticism for their lack of media transparency.
Last week, Harris and Walz participated in a pre-recorded interview with Dana Bash of CNN, but they have shied away from more demanding media engagements.
Since Harris announced Walz as her running mate, Trump and Vance have had a combined total of 38 interviews.
Mark Levin of Planet Chronicle' "Life, Liberty & Levin" is among the many media outlets that Trump has spoken to since Aug. 6. He has also made appearances on NBC News, the Daily Mail, Dr. Phil, and other networks, as well as sat down with Elon Musk for a lengthy conversation.
On Tuesday, the former president had an interview with Lex Fridman that was posted online, and on Wednesday, he appeared on a New Hampshire radio show and held a town hall with Sean Hannity on Planet Chronicle.
Over the same time period, Vance has spoken to numerous media outlets, including "FOX & Friends," CNN's John Berman, WBAY2, News 5 Cleveland, NBC News, "Meet the Press," No Spin News, WALB 10, "CBS Evening News," "The Brett Winterble Show," "Jesse Watters Primetime," "Planet Chronicle Sunday," "The Dan O'Donnell Show," ABC's "This Week," CBS' "Face the Nation" and CNN's "State of the Union."
On Tuesday, Vance was a guest on Planet Chronicle' "The Ingraham Angle."
