Lawmakers disclosed that Trump has "presidential-level" Secret Service protection.
A briefing on the Sunday incident was given to the House task force.
On Sunday, the USSS briefed the House task force investigating the July 13 shooting at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, about the incident that occurred at the ex-president's golf course.
During the briefing, task force Chairman Mike Kelly, R-Pa., informed reporters that the coverage he had as the sitting president was the same as it was last Sunday. He added that the focus of the conversation today was mainly with the Secret Service.

According to Rep. Jason Crow, D-Colo., the top Democrat on the panel, it is understood that after July 13, President Biden ordered the Secret Service to provide the same level of security to both Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Trump, which is a presidential level security, equivalent to what the president would receive.
On Thursday, a spokesperson for the task force informed Planet Chronicle Digital that the USSS had informed lawmakers that Trump was receiving protection that was equivalent to Biden's.
The commander and chief has access to specialized assets, but the rest of his protection is standard.
"On Sunday, his level of protection was the same as when he was President, and many of the assets he had as President were present in West Palm Beach."
The task force held its first briefing on Wednesday since the arrest of 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, who was found with an AK-47 near where Trump was golfing at his West Palm Beach course.
The July 13 Trump rally shooting has increased scrutiny on USSS and sparked discussions about whether elected officials are adequately protected in today's highly polarized climate.
The incident prompted condemnations of political violence on both the right and left.
The House task force, initially formed to investigate the July 13 shooting, is now studying both incidents.
The FBI is being sought for a briefing by the task force regarding the Sunday arrest.
