A state judge ruled on Saturday that presidential candidate Cornel West must appear on voting ballots in Michigan.
Days after being removed from the ballot due to technical issues, Judge James Robert Redford issued a ruling.
The Michigan Bureau of Elections informed West's campaign of inconsistencies in an August 16 letter. In response, the campaign contended that the Michigan Democratic Party was exploiting technicalities to disqualify West from the ballot.
Edwin DeJesus, campaign spokesman, stated to the Michigan Public Radio Network that we are confident that these accusations will be recognized as baseless attempts to suppress opposition and discussion.
On Saturday, X, formerly Twitter, received a ruling, to which West responded with a statement.

Despite the victory, West's campaign is facing similar challenges in states across the country. A Pennsylvania judge ruled on Friday that West was not qualified to appear on ballots in that state.
In Maine, West won a legal battle, with the secretary of state declaring him qualified to appear on the state's ballots.
The ballot battle continues with Vice President Harris and former President Trump in a close race, while RFK Jr. withdrew and endorsed Trump on Friday.
