Anti-Trump Republican urges Harris to increase media interactions to avoid election loss.

Joe Walsh, a vocal anti-Trump Republican, is urging Vice President Kamala Harris to increase her interactions with the press in order to secure a victory against former President Trump in November.
On Friday, former Illinois congressman Walsh told CNN that the U.S. presidential race is currently in a "dead heat" and predicted Trump would likely attack Harris for "flip-flopping" on various issues.
While it was beneficial for Harris to interview with CNN's Dana Bash, the Democratic nominee should increase his interactions with the media.
"Walsh believes that Kamala Harris cannot rely solely on Trump's poor performance and riding the vibe to win, and instead, she must actively engage with the media and answer tough questions."
In four battleground states, Harris has surpassed Biden's 2024 election numbers, thanks to her strong backing among women, Black voters, and young voters. Trump's support, on the other hand, has remained constant.
Recent polls from Planet Chronicle, Reuters, and USA Today show that Harris maintains her advantage over Trump.
On Thursday, Harris had her first formal interview since becoming the 2024 Democratic presidential ticket leader. She discussed President Biden's call about dropping out of the race and defended her recent policy changes.
Since becoming the Democratic ticket candidate, Harris has mostly shied away from the media, answering only brief media questions and not holding any press conferences.
In Georgia, Harris was accompanied by her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, during a pre-taped CNN interview.
