Trump voter who was once a DNC volunteer mocks Harris' campaign: "This was anything but flawless."
The VP has received support from media pundits during the Democratic Party's election analysis.
After President-elect Trump's election win, several liberal media commentators have praised Vice President Harris's campaign, calling it "flawless" and "incredible."
One former DNC volunteer contested the idea that the Harris campaign was flawless, asserting it was "far from" perfect.
"Jesse Watters Primetime" host Evan Barker, a former DNC volunteer, stated on Tuesday that the people on "The View" and the media elites who claim Kamala Harris ran a perfect campaign are wrong. According to Barker, the campaign was not perfect and anything but.
"Liz Cheney was trotted across the Rust Belt by her, yet she failed to comprehend the economic struggles faced by Americans. She neglected to address these concerns, leading to the Democratic Party's loss."
Trump won the presidential election with 312 electoral votes, after securing key battlegrounds and winning the popular vote.
In the final days of the campaigning cycle, polling suggested that the election results would be very close. However, the final tally revealed a clear victory for Trump.
Barker, who defected from the Democratic Party and voted for Trump, stated that she saw Harris' loss "coming a mile away."
"At the DNC, I witnessed what they were selling, and like most Americans, I didn't want to purchase it," she stated. "This election was determined by Americans who have decided they've had enough and won't tolerate it anymore."
The aftermath of the devastating loss has caused discord among Democrats, with members blaming one another for Trump's victory.
Amidst the finger-pointing, Barker asserted that "the group I am a part of is shifting the blame onto others."
"For the past eight years, I've observed a party drifting increasingly far from the working class citizens of this country," she stated, mirroring the sentiments of Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.
The Democratic Party was accused of abandoning the working class by Sanders for the loss.
"It's no surprise that the Democratic Party, which has abandoned working-class people, has been abandoned by them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. Sanders posted this to X last week, along with a press release on the election results. "And they’re right.""
Vice President Harris was left with just over 100 days until the election when President Biden dropped out of the race, and other notable voices in the party, including longtime leader Nancy Pelosi, accused Biden of being responsible.
Some have accused former President Obama of supporting Kamala Harris's campaign.
Despite the party's post-election strife, Barker believed that Harris was unable to link her campaign to the "reality" confronting Americans.
If this is their reality, and they're paying celebrities millions of dollars while appearing with Oprah Winfrey and Al Sharpton, the American people can see through it, she said to host Jesse Watters.
As a result of Harris' defeat, Trump is preparing for his transition to the presidency in January.
