Dr. Drew criticizes mainstream media and the left for their "hysteria and delusion" regarding Trump, stating that the media is undergoing changes.
Previously, Dr. Drew attributed Harris' campaign talking points to social media.
In an interview on Planet Chronicle' "Hannity" Tuesday night, Dr. Drew Pinsky characterized the media's response to President-elect Trump's victory over Vice President Kamala Harris as "hysteria and delusion."
"Drew stated to Sean Hannity that the source of the issue is mainstream media, which has led to the American public being mentally ill due to propaganda."
Since Trump's re-election, multiple news outlets, including CNN and MSNBC, have launched attacks on him. Partisan MSNBC hosts like Joy Reid have melted down, with some personalities pointing fingers at misogyny and racism for why Harris lost.
"Drew stated that delusionality cannot be reasoned with, as they have experienced a stage of delusion that began with the first Trump presidency and was intensified by Covid."
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) was accused of "propaganda" and spending "hundreds of millions of dollars" to influence the public during the COVID pandemic, as pointed out by Drew.
In June, HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra was attempted to be forced by Republican senators to respond to questions regarding COVID-19's origins and vaccine safety.
Drew advised on how to communicate with family members influenced by media reports about Trump or COVID, emphasizing "compassionate firmness."
"He argued that argumentation would not work, stating that they were delusional. However, he believed that firmness was necessary because the reality was that this was like a cult. Cults separate families and the cult member from the family, and this is how they gain control. Therefore, it is essential to fight against this."
Drew discussed the evolving media environment, comparing established celebrities with emerging forms of media, such as podcasts.
Drew remarked that the endorsement of Harris by aged celebrities like Julia Roberts was outdated.
""Joe Rogan has influence, not Julia Roberts," he stated."
On the Friday before Election Day, Joe Rogan, one of the country's most influential podcasters, sat down with Trump for almost three hours. However, Rogan has stated that Harris' team ultimately rejected his offer for an interview with the vice president, making multiple requests about the length of the interview and other details.
Rogan endorsed Trump before the election.
