Andrew Schulz and Charlamagne tha God discussed on "Brilliant Idiots" podcast that Taylor Swift's endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris would not significantly affect the 2024 election cycle.

In a recent episode, the co-hosts were surprised to note that Swift's endorsement of Harris, which she published after the September debate with Trump, did not provide the desired boost to the Democratic Party.

"But for real, Taylor Swift doesn't have the juice like that," Schulz remarked. Charlamagne agreed, though he said he didn't think the "You Belong with Me" singer was really committed to supporting Harris' candidacy.

Swift's ineffectiveness on the campaign trail was brought up by Schulz, who joked, "Taylor Swift may not have what it takes."

His co-host joked about their shared agreement that Swift's relevance is declining, causing amusement.

"The Breakfast Club" host Charlamagne, a supporter of Harris, declared, "We are now a country!" In response, Schulz, who interviewed President-elect Trump prior to the election, stated, "We have achieved unity!"

Although he joked about it, Charlamagne concurred with Schulz's view that Swift no longer possesses the "juice" she once did, a surprising turn of events given that many predicted a Democratic endorsement from the globally renowned pop star could harm Trump's chances on Election Day.

After the Trump-Harris debate, Swift addressed her 283 million Instagram followers, urging them to research and make their own choice. She also reminded first-time voters of the importance of voter registration.

Taylor Swift announced that she would be casting her vote early and signed off on her post with "Taylor Swift, Cat Lady," in response to JD Vance's 2021 interview where he criticized childless women for being unhappy and miserable.

Although Swift's post received two million likes, it did not contribute to Harris's victory last week. Schulz stated that it was evident that the pop star's fans wanted her to "dance," "sing," or "strum" rather than "shut up."

Charlamagne acknowledged that a single social media post does not necessarily constitute a strong endorsement.

Taylor didn't fully commit, in contrast to Beyoncé, who gave a speech at a Harris rally in Houston," he said, adding, "I give Beyoncé props.

Swift was criticized by Schulz, who said, "She abandoned the last project. There was only one thing she might have been interested in -" before Charlamagne interrupted, "It was in Pennsylvania."

The radio host urged Swift, "Although you posted on Instagram, don't forget to appear."

"Taylor was told by someone around her that they wanted her to look at a quote from Michael Jordan, which said Republicans also buy shoes. Additionally, someone informed Taylor that their analytics showed that the people they thought were their base were not actually their base."

"She disappeared after the Instagram post," Charlamagne said. "You didn't see anything from Taylor after that," Schulz added.
