During his interview with Joe Rogan, Kamala Harris' campaign team had a condition that prevented the topic of marijuana legalization from being discussed.
Previously, Rogan stated that there were certain topics that Harris did not wish to discuss, which had some limitations.
On Tuesday, during his podcast, Joe Rogan proposed that Vice President Kamala Harris set a condition for a potential interview with him, which would involve avoiding discussions about "marijuana legalization."
"Rogan stated that he is unsure of the number of conversations he had with his family, but there were multiple conversations with varying dates, times, and topics. He added that they knew she would be in Texas, so he invited her to come over. Rogan also mentioned that there were requirements on certain topics that she didn't want to discuss, such as marijuana legalization, which he found amusing."
Rogan disclosed that the Harris campaign had been in discussions with him about conducting an interview, but it did not materialize. Harris had proposed that Rogan travel to Washington, D.C. for a one-hour sit-down interview.
Adrienne Iapalucci, Rogan's guest, queried him about the reason behind Harris' decision to steer clear of the topic.
"Rogan stated that her prosecuting history resulted in many individuals being incarcerated for marijuana offenses."
In another podcast episode on Friday, Rogan mentioned that the campaign had certain conditions for the interview.
Rogan stated, "There were some restrictions on topics they didn't want to discuss, but I replied, 'I don't care, bring her in.' Whatever you want to talk about."
While in Texas, Harris was repeatedly approached by Rogan for an interview, but she declined.
President-elect Trump had a three-hour conversation with Rogan that garnered over 36 million views on YouTube prior to the election.
On the day before the election, Rogan unexpectedly endorsed Trump after criticizing Harris as a "bad candidate" on his podcast.
The vice president was not skilled in unscripted scenarios, as he was described by someone who also characterized the campaign as "chaotic."
He said that he didn't know if she was skilled at managing things because it was necessary to observe from behind the scenes, but when it came to speaking impulsively, she excelled at delivering a well-rehearsed speech from a teleprompter.
