Travis Kelce will be entering his 12th NFL season when the Kansas City Chiefs play the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.

According to a team source, the 34-year-old informed Chiefs general manager Brett Veach and head coach Andy Reid that he believes he has two more "good years" left in his career.

In June, the three-time Super Bowl champion signed a two-year, $34.25 million contract extension that will last until the 2025-2026 season.

For the first time in his career, Kelce became the highest-paid tight end in the league due to the contract extension.

In the previous season, the nine-time Pro Bowler recorded 93 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns during the regular season. For the first time since 2015, the tight end failed to surpass 1,000 yards in a season.

In the second consecutive Super Bowl run, Kelce was dominant in the playoffs, with 32 receptions for 355 yards and three touchdowns after resting in Week 18.

Over his 11-year career, Kelce has established himself as one of the greatest tight ends of his generation, with 907 career receptions, 11,382 receiving yards, and 74 touchdowns.

In a recent episode of "New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce," Jason queried his brother Travis about his feelings following training camp.

"I feel old as f--- after reading 12 seasons, but today in practice, I felt like I was flying," Travis Kelce said.

In October, Kelce will turn 35 and be expected to play a key role in helping the Chiefs achieve a historic third consecutive Super Bowl victory, something that has never been accomplished before.
