Amidst the division that arose after the election, a former NFL player is attempting to act as a mediator.
After MSNBC host Joe Scarborough accused Black men of misogyny, Robert Griffin III responded on X last week by stating that "Black Men do support Black Women."
The former Baylor star wrote on X, "Stop accusing black men of everything affecting black women."
On Tuesday, one week after Donald Trump's victory, Griffin urged unity and criticized those who harshly criticize Trump supporters.
"Griffin wrote on X, "Dear America, this is a safe space. It is not productive to label the 75 Million Americans who voted for Donald Trump as bigots when trying to unite people." Griffin also asked, "How can we create a community where people of different cultural backgrounds and beliefs can come together without division?""
After four months of being appointed as President Biden's replacement in the presidential race, Harris failed to win the White House, and Democrats and anti-Trump critics offered various analyses to determine the cause of her defeat.
Numerous Harris backers on social media are unfriending or disconnecting from individuals who supported Trump in his third bid for the presidency.
During their first debate on CNN on June 27, Trump and President Biden were criticized by Griffin.
On that night, Griffin wrote on X that the Presidential debate demonstrated the need for younger presidential candidates.
Griffin stated that he believed Trump won the election after the initial assassination attempt on his life.
Griffin stated in a video following the Butler, Pennsylvania, rally that while he doesn't care about people's opinions on President Donald Trump, now is not the time to play politics. Instead, it's crucial to pray for Trump, his family, and the families of those who lost someone in the shooting. People are so fixated on the possibility that the assassination attempt was staged that they are forgetting about the fact that someone died.
