PGA Tour season presents challenges for new dads, as Scottie Scheffler discusses.

Scottie Scheffler has had a year for the ages.

This season, Scheffler won seven PGA tournaments, including the Masters, and earned a record-breaking $54,228,357 in prize money.

Besides his achievements on the PGA Tour, Scheffler also represented Team USA in the Paris 2024 Olympics and won a gold medal.

During the second round of the PGA Championship at Valhalla, Scheffler was arrested and spent time in a jail cell before shooting a 66 for the round.

In May, Bennett, the couple's first child, was born to Scheffler and his wife Meredith during his peak season.

On Barstool Sports' "Pardon My Take", Scheffler was questioned about whether the new "dad strength" boosted his drive distance.

Bennett's first few months were nerve-wracking, as you were so cautious while holding him that you felt like you might accidentally harm him, causing you to tense up and hold him tightly.

Although Scheffler did not gain any additional yards on his drive, having a newborn put a strain on his body.

"The first few months were quite uncomfortable for my back while holding him. Now that I've relaxed a bit, it's easier to hold him. However, it was still like clockwork - every time we returned from a tournament, one of his ribs would pop out or something similar, causing him to bounce around like a little golf injury."

Despite sustaining "soft little golf injuries," Scheffler's play was not hindered during the past season.

After the conclusion of the PGA Tour season, Scheffler focuses on supporting the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys, as well as preparing for the upcoming year.
