Nick Saban receives a steak from Pat McAfee's hand on ESPN.

Nick Saban was well-fed during ESPN's "College GameDay" on Saturday, as Pat McAfee made sure of it.

During the show, the crew relished some of South Carolina's best cuisine while McAfee clutched a tomahawk steak in his left hand.

Saban made eye contact with McAfee while holding the steak and gestured with his head to ask if he wanted to take a bite.

Without a moment of hesitation, McAfee's steak was bitten out of by Saban.

Saban was enjoying his bite while McAfee hunched over and laughed, then gave Saban a fist bump to celebrate the moment.

This was not the first viral moment for the two this season.

An awkward moment was captured on film, apparently taken with a cell phone, where McAfee was seen dancing in his seat and snapping his fingers to the music. Meanwhile, Saban remained seated with his hands together, giving him an uncomfortable appearance as he glanced at his colleague.

Saban retired from coaching Alabama in January and was subsequently hired by ESPN on February 7th to become an analyst on "College GameDay." He had previously won six national titles in 17 seasons with the Crimson Tide and also won a national title as LSU's head coach in 2003.

In his third season on the show, McAfee is the latest addition to the cast, having joined in 2022.

Unlike Saban, McAfee's journey to "College GameDay" was unique. He played as a punter and kicker for the Indianapolis Colts from 2009 to 2016 and was recognized with an All-Pro nomination in 2014.

After retiring from playing, he started his own podcast, "The Pat McAfee Show," which launched on September 9, 2019. Initially, his show was carried by Westwood One, Barstool Sports, and Sirius XM before moving to ESPN in September 2022.
