In the second half, Georgia's offense took over, leading Clemson to a commanding victory in the season opener.

The offense of the Georgia Bulldogs had two distinct halves.

In the first half, the Clemson Tigers defense held the team to six points on two field goals. However, in the second half, they scored 28 points, leading to a 34-3 victory in their opening game of the 2024 season.

Carson Beck, the quarterback, led the Bulldogs with 278 yards thrown and two touchdowns scored.

Despite Trevor Etienne's suspension for an arrest in March, Georgia's offensive outburst occurred.

Despite the charges against him being dropped in July, Etienne was still suspended by head coach Kirby Smart.

In the absence of the original runner, freshman Nate Frazier stepped up and ran for 83 yards on 11 carries, scoring a touchdown. He also had one reception for 24 yards.

London Humphreys and Colbie Young each caught a touchdown pass from Beck.

Despite Dabo Swinney's efforts, Clemson's offense underperformed, producing only 188 yards of offense and failing to convert on 4 out of 13 third downs.

Cade Klubnik, the junior quarterback, threw for 142 yards with an interception, while Phil Mafah, the running back, was limited to 59 yards on 16 carries.

Clemson came into the game as the 14th-ranked team in the country.

The Tigers, who fell to 0-1 on the season, will aim to recover next week when they host the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

Georgia demonstrated their position as the top team in the country with their outstanding performance, and they will strive to maintain their momentum when they host the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles at home next week.
