Caitlin Clark hits a home run in a batting cage at a minor league baseball game.
An Indianapolis Indians game was attended by Clark.
On Thursday, Caitlin Clark, the rookie of the Indiana Fever, left the court and entered a batting cage.
At the stadium, Clark wore an Indianapolis Indians jersey, which is the Triple-A minor league baseball affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and was hitting off of a tee in the cage.
As she stepped into the batter's box, she remarked, "It could go anywhere."
The ball went all the way down toward the other end of the cage after she connected with it.
"Dinger!" she said after taking her hack.
Clark is wrapping up her first successful professional regular season in the WNBA.
The Fever have returned to the playoffs for the first time since the 2016 season, with Tamika Catchings leading the charge. Additionally, Indiana has won 19 games this season, which is the most since the team had 20 victories during the 2015 season.
The success of the offense is largely dependent on Clark's integration with last year's Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston and veteran guard Kelsey Mitchell.
The Fever has been performing exceptionally well since returning to the court on Aug. 16, with a record of 8-3.
The Fever have three games remaining in the 2024 season, including a Friday night matchup against the Las Vegas Aces at home, followed by a game against the Dallas Wings on Sunday at home, and finishing the season on the road against the Washington Mystics in Washington, D.C.
