On Monday, Rep. Mikie Sherrill, D-N.J., stated that the second assassination attempt against former President Trump was a result of the "combination" of Republican "misinformation" and "fear-mongering," as well as the "ease of obtaining assault rifles."
One day after the Secret Service thwarted an assassination attempt at Trump International Golf Club, Sherrill spoke to CNN's Jim Acosta about the incident.
