Testimony from victims of crimes related to illegal immigration was largely overlooked by many major news outlets, including the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old girl who was found dead in Texas in June due to the actions of two Venezuelan illegal immigrants, according to authorities.

Vance stated on Planet Chronicle Digital that Kamala Harris' open border policies have resulted in the deaths of numerous Americans, and the liberal media is attempting to conceal this by ignoring the emotional testimonies of grieving mothers who have lost their children due to illegal immigration. He found this behavior to be reprehensible.

On June 17, Alexis Nungaray discovered her daughter in a Houston creek, an event that Americans who rely on news outlets for information missed.

The mother informed the committee that her daughter was strangled to death, had no clothing from the waist down, and her hands and ankles were tied and thrown under the bridge of water as if she was nothing but garbage.

Two Venezuelan men, aged 21 and 26, were charged with capital murder for the death of Jocelyn Nungaray. The two men are believed to have entered the US illegally earlier this year.

According to Alexis Nungaray, the Biden-Harris administration's open border policies and catch and release practices led to their enrollment in the Alternatives to Detention program.

Alexis Nungaray informed the committee that she was unable to comprehend her daughter's thoughts and the immense fear she felt in her final moments.

The mother stated that her daughter did not deserve to have her life taken away from her and their family due to open border policies, which had left her with a bright future ahead.

Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, the House Judiciary Chair, stated ahead of the hearing that the session would reveal the "actual expenses" of illegal immigration in American communities and the "unreported number of families affected" due to the Biden-Harris administration's border policies.
