The "Hollywood Ripper" and "Boy Next Door Killer," who was previously sentenced to death for two Southern California murders in 2001 and 2005, has been extradited to Illinois for the 1993 murder of an 18-year-old.

Tricia Pacaccio, 18, was murdered by Michael Gargiulo, 48, on August 1993, after spending an evening with friends outside her home in Fairview, Illinois, according to FOX 32.

Ethan Holland, a Cook County Assistant State's Attorney, informed reporters at the Skokie, Illinois courthouse on Friday that Michael Gargiulo was a friend and classmate of the victim's brother. The defendant's residence was located one block from the Pacaccios.

Gargiulo was initially suspected of the crime, but he was not linked to it through DNA until after he had left for California and committed two more murders.

In 2001, Ashton Kutcher was scheduled to pick up Ellerin for a date, but she was already murdered by the time he arrived at her home. She had been stabbed 47 times.

In 2008, Gargiulo allegedly tried to kill another woman in the Los Angeles area.

In the aftermath of those murders, Holland stated that more witnesses emerged, revealing that in the late 1990s, Michael Gargiulo had confessed to killing a girl in Chicago.

Gargiulo was accompanied by "Witness A" and another individual in disposing of knives, and he confessed to "Witness A" that he was scared the police were after him.

Gargiulo, when questioned by "Witness C," admitted that he had joked about burying the woman and had actually left her for dead.

In 2011, Gargiulo was charged with Pacaccio's murder, but he was not extradited until he was sentenced in California.

Gargiulo is currently in custody without bond and will be back in court on September 20th.
