An 8-year-old boy was stunned when former President Trump personally greeted him at a rally in New York on Wednesday.

Liam, who has a rare brain disorder, received a letter from Trump just before his eighth birthday and his heartfelt reaction to the surprise went viral.

According to Siobhan, doctors warned that Liam might never walk, talk, or eat on his own.

She told Planet Chronicle Digital in an interview before Trump's rally at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum that her buddy plays both ice and roller hockey, excels in school, and is involved in sports. She expressed pride in him.

Since Liam was 18 months old, his mom said he has been a Trump supporter.

Liam's family was invited to Trump's Unidondale rally as VIP guests, and less than a week after receiving the letter, Liam met the Republican presidential nominee and received an even bigger birthday gift.

"I was supposed to be on that stage, but it doesn't matter because I got you the best present. This is the best present you'll ever have," Trump said while greeting Liam backstage.

Liam received a box from Trump with "good stuff" inside.

Liam and I will have that photo for life, Trump said after taking it.

Trump thanked Liam and his family for joining him.

Liam, Trump said, "Be sure to take care of yourself. I wish I looked like that, or if I did, I'd be president."

During the rally, Trump recognized Liam and his family and praised their bravery, while also acknowledging their visit and eliciting applause from the crowd.

Liam's mom told Planet Chronicle Digital that she was crying.

An envelope with a letter from the former president was eagerly opened by Liam in a viral video that gained national attention.

"Kevin Smith stated that "This aspect of Donald Trump is concealed from the public," as he shared the initial video before it gained widespread attention online. According to Smith, the majority of Americans are only familiar with Trump's public persona and the extensive media coverage."

Liam is sitting on a couch as his mom hands over an envelope. She asks if he wants to read the letter or have her read it, but Liam fights back tears as he realizes what is happening.

Siobhan reads to Liam, "Mrs. Trump, Happy birthday, and I hope you enjoy this special occasion surrounded by the love of your family and friends."

"We are greatly inspired by your resilience and commitment, and we offer our support and blessings as you persevere. Know that you are never alone, and we are thinking of you and your loved ones for continued well-being. May God bless you and your family, stay strong."

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk commended the former president for his considerate behavior in a video he shared.

"This is an amazing video you won't forget. An eight-year-old boy with a rare brain disorder breaks down in tears when he receives a letter from President Trump wishing him a happy birthday," Kirk wrote on X.

Liam's birthday was approaching, and Trump inquired about Siobhan's feelings regarding him wishing him a happy birthday.

Can you tell me who signed that, Siobhan asks sincerely?

"Donald Trump," Liam responds shakily, holding back tears.

"Did you know it was your birthday soon? What should you say to him?" Siobhan inquires.

"Liam expresses his love for someone by saying "Thank you" and signing "I love you.""
