At a Trump rally, police officers call for the death penalty for cop killers while being followed closely.
Trump receives first endorsement for president from Suffolk County PBA, a New York police organization.
In response to the failed assassination attempt, New York police officers held a rally outside the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum where former President Donald Trump was appearing in support of the Republican candidate.
The Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association president, Lou Civello, stated that the union endorsed Trump as he was the only candidate who "supported law enforcement."
Civello argued that the union's backing of Trump over Harris was a clear choice because of the Democratic Party's anti-police policies, including the "defund the police" movement and the leniency in the criminal justice system that has released 42 convicted cop killers in the past seven years.
"The people who drove the car were not directly involved in the murder, but the ones who executed police officers were somehow loosely connected," he stated.
""President Trump supports the death penalty for cop killers," he said."
Vice President Kamala Harris was criticized by him for her past comments that were critical of police and in favor of the "defund" movement. Despite her campaign trail embrace of the title of a former "top cop" and her careers as a prosecutor, Harris previously made pro-defund remarks and floated the idea of abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
In his first term, Trump directly contributed to stopping the MS-13 violence epidemic, as stated by Civello.
He stood shoulder to shoulder with us on Long Island when they were chopping up children with machetes, he said.
Civello stated that gang members murdered a mother and her child to prevent the child from seeking revenge and growing up.
"The man who spoke to Planet Chronicle Digital stated that MS-13 members took a toy from a civilian and brought it home to their own girlfriend's son. He described these individuals as "sick and perverse" with "no regard for human life.""
Trump was the first presidential candidate to receive the endorsement of the Suffolk County PBA, a police organization in the state.
Before attending the Trump rally, officers gathered at a tailgate hosted by the PBA across the street from the Coliseum.
Earlier this week, Patrick Ryder, the police commissioner in Nassau County, assured that the rally venue would be the safest in the country.
Numerous Trump enthusiasts arrived well before schedule to secure a spot at the 18,000-capacity venue, which was once the home of the New York Islanders' NHL team.
