The booking photo of Ryan Wesley Routh, the suspect in former President Donald Trump's second failed assassination attempt, showed him smirking.
Planet Chronicle Digital obtained Routh's arrest records, which listed him as 58 years old, married, and an atheist in the religion category.
His wife was listed as his emergency contact.
The arrest records indicate that Routh was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the incident.
On Sunday, Routh was arrested after authorities noticed a gun protruding from the bushes on the golf course where Trump was playing that afternoon. According to records, Routh had been camping outside the golf course with food and a rifle for almost 12 hours.
Officials stated that Routh did not fire any shots, never had Trump in his line of sight, and sped away after the agent who spotted him fired in his direction.
With the help of an eyewitness, the police quickly obtained descriptions of the suspect and his vehicle, leading to his arrest in a neighboring county, authorities stated.
Routh has been accused of possessing a gun with a scratched-out number and of illegally possessing a gun as a felon, although more severe charges may be forthcoming.
Aronberg previously informed Planet Chronicle Digital that charges of aggravated assault and threats against a former president could be filed against the individual who is due back in court later this month for allegedly pointing a rifle at a Secret Service agent.
In a press conference on Tuesday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis stated that the state will file additional charges against Routh and that his actions warrant life imprisonment.
