In Los Angeles, the police are looking for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday that left a 63-year-old woman with severe injuries.
On Sept. 6, a black Hyundai sedan struck a woman walking in a marked crosswalk in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, resulting in her injury.
Police stated that the driver of the black Hyundai did not stop, identify themselves, or provide aid to the injured person and then fled the scene on Costello Avenue and Davana Terrance.
The woman in the video, released by investigators, appears to turn her head in both directions as she enters the crosswalk at approximately 6 p.m. local time.

The Los Angeles Fire Department's paramedics were dispatched to the scene and transported the 63-year-old female, who sustained severe injuries, to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The vehicle is described as having four doors and tinted windows.
